I heard somehting about the Canada Pavilion at EPCOT that I wanted to see if anyone knew anything about.

My wife was recently in Albequerque for work and some friends of hers there told her that when they visited Disney in the spring of 2008 (this would have been April or May) they bought a waffle in one of the shops at the Canada Pavilion.

Does anyone know where these are sold? They said it was just in one of the shops at Canada, but I have never seen it and my wife and I are AP holders that go down 6-7 times a year. I was hoping someone might know more about it. Could it possibly be the food stand right before Canada that rotates its menu?

No waffles are sold in Canada as far as I know. It appears not all of the Canada shops are open. The ones at the top of the hill have been closed for quite awhile.

A few years ago there was an item called a "Beaver Tail" which, while it was not a waffle, was a type of fried dough often served with chocolate or other sauces. They're no longer sold.

Also not sure what you are referring to by "food stand by Canada that rotates its menu" unless you mean the Refreshment Port that used to be McDonalds. It now serves Latin-inspired food, no waffles.

Thanks for the info. I didn't think they served anything like that, but thought I would check. And I probably do mean the Refreshment Port. It seems like my wife and I have seen different menus at it, but I am probably wrong on that.
