Waaait a minute - is T-Rex formally known as Rainforest Cafe?

It's been too long since our last visit ('01) so bear with me. I swear the pic posted on the review sub-board looked eerily similar to the Rainforest entrance at AK when we were there in '01.

From now on I vow no more than 3 years b/t trips.

No, it's two separate restaurants. RFC is at one end of the Marketplace, T-Rex is at the other. They are owned by the same company and are very similar. The only difference is in the theming, really.

The menu is different as well. I think the websites for each have the menus if you are interested.

We went to TRex in Oct when it opened. I thought it was pretty good!

On the same note, I seem to remember there being a Rainforest Cafe at the Animal Kingdom. Is that still there?

yes there was a rain forest cafe in AK when we were last there (05) and from our planning for this year we've looked it up on the website and it seems to still be there. have a gr8 hol!
