Just putting on the final touches to a 8,000 word hypnotic script for deep relaxation. It's to do with a lush garden and isn't all that bad if I may toot my own horn

I have no idea how long it will take to recite that… I offer half-hourly to hourly sessions. This risks going rapidly over time! Comparison - a 750 word script for vertigo takes 20 minutes to speak… Gotta read it at a therapeutic rate - very slowly and calmly.

So assume 1000 words would be 30 minutes, 8000 would be 4 hours.

Sounds like you need to cut this script way down if you want it to fit in an hour long session and even more if you want it for a 30 minute session.

I don't intend to use it as an in-session script; rather I will record it to MP3/CD and give it to clients to listen to at home. It is a generic deep relaxations script after all

I guess also it was a case of proving myself to be able to do such a thing in the first instance!
