down 1.2 pounds.....slow & steady for me....working towards that first 5 pound clippie....I expect it will take a while - I'm at a 1 pound/week weight loss pace.....
Well, I read the posts and relate to so many of them.
I am finally down 2 this week and do feel like I have my head where it needs to be to get the 13 off I am proclaiming needs to be gone!
Hang in there everyone - we must keep telling ourselves that this is a lifestyle not a race and we can succeed!
Congrats to all who is just having it "drop off" - Congrats to those who aren't and are just still being committed
and
hugs to all as we all need those - no matter what
Still stuck on my plateau. I'm being good, though. I'm not cheating with carbs, & I am exercising 6days/wk, so I'm sure I will see a breakthrough soon. I'm not giving up no matter how long it takes. Onward and downward!
Congrats to all this week's losers, & thanks to all of you for your inspiration.
I'm down a pound this week ... It's really hard to shake those last few pounds. It seems like I keep losing the same few pounds but can't quite get to my goal... I'm hoping for warmer weather soon so I can get back into my evening walk routine ...
I'm 'officialy' a maintain this week (thou the scale was lower for one glorious moment on Tuesday!). Like others, I've been 'floating' in a two pound range for a couple of weeks. I did measure my waist this am and it's 1/2 inch smaller that last week, so I know some of the fat is gone! Did more exercise this week (thanks TammyNC and chatters!) but still not the amount that I want to become my routine. So exercise will be my focus for next week also.
Ok, here's my story, I live in South Dakota and we have been snowed in a lot lately. Up until this weekend, I have not had any healthy snacks in my house soo, on my trip to HyVee this past Tuesday, I splurged on myself ( I felt so selfish.) BUT, I did sign up for WW online last night and I am now trying to stay close to the points that I have to use. I know at first that I will need to take it one day at a time. Maybe even one meal at a time. The part that I will have to really watch is the snacking that I tend to do without even thinking. I've been known to walk to the kitchen grab a handful of something and not realize it until I've got it into my mouth. I hate that, but I'm guilty of it. ANYWAY, I am now going to hide the unhealthy snacks and make the healthier snacks a bit more accessible.
