How would the US authorities know about a minor conviction (shoplifting) 25+ years ago if the person travailing enters via the VWP. The UK police say it would take them up to 41 days to provide the relevant paperwork to apply for a visa?
By the way this isn’t my conviction but a work friend who is travelling late 05.
