VWL Waitlist luck?

We are on a waitlist for 4 nights for VWL in late April. I'm curious what kind of luck others have had getting their waitlist ressies to come through? This is our first attempt at a waitlist so I'm a bit nervous. SSR is our backup (and we love it there) but we are really hoping to experience VWL - part of our efforts to try all the DVC resorts at least once.

Good Luck!!! We are also on the waitlist for 3/23 - 3/28 for VWL, BCV, and BWV.

We currently are staying at OKW Studio if noting works out.

We have had really good luck with the waitlist. The key is that you have a back-up plans .

don't know about April but have been on waitlist for VWL since end of May and it hasn't come through for week after Thanksgiving. Hope you have better luck.

We have not had luck for our T-giving waitlist either, but I do know that VWL tends to be in high demand during T-giving and Christmas seasons. Hopefully, it will be different in April.

But we decided that we do not want to play the waitlist game for VWL because we would like to go every or every other year at Christmas, so we purchased an add-on of 65 pts.

PS - We did waitlist and GOT BWV standard room last June which was supposed to be a tough one to book at the 7 mo. mark. SO, I know the waitlist can work out.

We went on the waitlist at VWL for our upcoming stay at the end of November for MVMCP. We really wanted to stay here because we have heard how great the resort is at Christmas time.. Well after sitting on the waitlist for about 4 months, it finally came through this week!

I was on the VWL waitlist for one night in September (added a night to the end). My waitlist came through about 6-8 weeks before that time. We did have a back up ressie at SSR if needed, but I really did not want to have to move for one night at the end of the vacation.

We are heading to VWL on the 25th Nov. When we booked we got one night right away, waitlisted for another 3 nights. These came through quickly.
All in all for our 19 day trip wailisted for 6 nights and 5 came through - good going I think.
Don`t give up hope.

We were on the waitlist for our trip last month. We were put on the list at the end of March and the request came through at the beginning of September. Hope everything works out for you

We waitlisted for 12/28 & 12/29 and got it. First the 28th came through, then the 29th.

I waitlisted for Dec 1 at VWL in September. It came through! December is busy busy busy so I think you have a great chance for April.

I would think you have a good chance of getting a waitlist for VWL in April. It's not Easter vacation week is it? If so, it may be a bit more difficult.

It is Passover, So the schools are closed. We have a shorter break around Easter.

I checked on the member site this morning and our waitlist came through! We are quite excited!

I was wondering if you've heard yet. We're waitlisted (8 lists actually, lol) for late April as well. We're hoping for BWV but would be thrilled w/ BCV, AKV or VWL (hence the 8 waitlists).
