VWL Views????

Can anyone tell me if the Wilderness Lodge Villas have specific views?

I have always requested quiet pool view. A small number of rooms have that view, so it is hard to get. I have heard members talk about lake or woods view but for the most part, the rest of the rooms are woods view (with the exception of the infamous dumpster view which I'm sure you're not interested in).

We had the BEST view two years ago...I requested "close to the lobby" because my Mom has a hard time getting around, and we were assigned to the 2nd floor, right behind the Topiary DVC Mickey at the entrance to the Villas wing. It was so cool... The room had two small balconies that looked right at Mickey's fanny, and every night we'd look out and say goodnight to him!

So this room was on the front side of the villa building? Or the lake side, not familar with where the topiary is located?

Views are just requests, not guaranteed. BWV is the only WDW DVC resort that specificially reserves views.

Yes, this would be on the front side. The topiary is next to the covered walkway from WL just after the intersection with the path that leads to the buses.

As HBC said, most of the views are of the woods. You can see from this aerial view what he meant. VWL has the red roof.
