This is my first ever trip report so bear with me if I ramble, repeat myself, or make no sense at all. I'll post a report for each day because I've been having mysterious computer ailments and I don't trust it long enough the get through the whole report at once.

Cast was just me, Carolyn, and Clayton, almost 16 years old.

Sunday, June 27: Drove from Georgia, which is an easy 7.5 hours for us. I even let Clayton drive a little. We checked into the VWL around 4:00 and Studio #4561 was ready and in fine condition. It was the next to last room on the hall facing the woods. So it was far from the elevators but nice and quiet. This was our first time in a studio, and there was plenty of room. I unpacked and we decided to hang around the resort. Clayton wanted dinner at Roaring Forks (Burger for me, hot dog for him, with vanilla cupcakes for dessert). After dinner, we walked down to the geyser and saw the first of many rabbits and lizards, which Clayton can spot a mile away. We watched the Electrical Water Pagent from the beach. When we went back to the room, my secret surprise order from the WDW florist had been delivered. Since it's harder to do this for a teenager, the florist rep suggested a canvas bag with goodies. It was a WDW 2004 bag filled with fruit, cheese and crackers, candy, chips, and other goodies. My intention was for Clayton to enjoy all the goodies and I would keep the bag. Wrong! He wanted the bag too; after all, he said it was addressed to him. Oh, well..next time I get the surprise. We were happy to see that we could see a portion of the Wishes fireworks from our balcony, so I ran to get the camcorder. It is so nice to relax and watch fireworks from your own balcony. Off to bed. The other days to follow, one or two at a time.

Thanks for the post. Hope the rest of the trip went well!

Thanks for posting about your trip. I'm not reading them in order, so I'm replying to the first. It sounds like you had a wonderful.

An under 16 year old can drive in Georgia ???

In Georgia, after passing a written test, a 15 year old can obtain a Learner's Permit but can only drive with family. After passing a written and road test, a 16 year old can obtain a driver's license. A newly licensed 16 year old can only have family in the car for 6 months
