Hi - I've just booked a trip for next year. Am I correct in thinking this time frame will allow me to do the Halloween and Christmas parties and enjoy F&W?
I will be going home to VWL where I have not stayed the last few years, I've been staying at AKL villas - Kidani. It's been so nice for when I want to take a day off from the parks to sit in one of the animal viewing areas which keep my grandchildren occupied.
The trip will be myself, my sister and our 3 grandchildren ages 4,5 &7. We will have annual passes - we'll be at AKV for President's week.
1. We are booked into a studio because the 1 bedrooms do not take 5. Is there anyway I can book a 1 bedroom for 5 at VWL?
2. When do the Christmas decorations go up? Will we miss them entirely at the lodge? Love, love, love WL at Christmas imho it is the most picture perfect resort at Christmas - it cannot be outdone! (OMG I may have to plan a trip for the following year in early December for the Christmas decorations.
3. I know they just refurbished the villas - what is that like? Loved them before but always thought they were a little dark - but loved the feel and theming of the decor.
4. Can you use the babysitting drop off service for developmentally disabled children or do we have to hire an in-room babysitter? We want to take a night or 2 for ourselves to do F&W.
5. Is fast pass available during the party nights?
I usually don't plan so much for my WDW vacations - I really fly by the seat of my pants - but I want my grandchildren to get to experience the parties and since I'm not much of a planner I know I need help.
