Hello All , if i wanted to request a view of the pool for the studio do I ask just that or a particular room.

Thanks.

Ask for the view. The more general your request, the more likely you are to receive it.

If you ask for a particular room and it is occupied when you check in, there really isn't any way for the room assigners to know why you wanted that room.

Doesn't hurt to politely ask for your pool view again at check in. It appears that those who check in early in the day are more likely to be granted requests than those who check in later.

There aren't many pool view studios at the VWL. We had a woods view at VWL, and we were on the VWL pool side, and we were only a few rooms down the hallway from the VWL lobby area (2nd floor - 2539). View from our room:

Same, but zoomed in more - the pool is generally between where we were and the green roof you can see in the photo:

I looked at the villas layout and it looks like there could only be maybe 10 studios that would even have a chance of seeing the pool.

I'm guessing only these studios could see the pool, if any, so you're starting from a limited "pool" (ha, ha) of rooms. Others told me there really weren't any studios where you had much of a pool view at all:
1505, 1509
2505, 2509
3505, 3509
4505, 4509
5221
maybe 2531, 3531, 4531

With all that said, I hope you do get the pool view you want! Good luck! I agree though, don't ask for a particular room number.

If I dont get it not a big deal. It would be nice for our first trip as a DVC Member.

Thanks
