VWL studio, 32 pts. for a Tuesday? Why?

I'm very confused, either there is something odd here or I'm missing something. I'm not a DVC'er, but I've rented points a few times, and I thought I knew how the point system worked, but...

I used the DIS point calculator to check points needed for a VWL studio for 3 nights in late April. The Sun & Mon nights come up at 14 pts/night, but the Tuesday is coming up at 32 pts. All dates are Magic season. Why would the Tuesday be so much more? (Not a holiday or even a holiday week.)

The chart in the guidebook has for April 7-30, VWL studio, 14 points Sun-Thurs, 32 points Fri-Sat. If your dates were put in correctly there must be an error in the calculator.

Make sure you changed the year! I did this last week and kept coming up strange. It is still defaulting 2001.

FYI April 1-6 is 19 points weekdays and 43 points for Fri-Sat (Premiere Season).

The calculator is probably using a wrong year....one when your April date was Friday.

Some of the 2002 VWL dates are NOT accurate and have not yet been corrected (we've had a few other priorities ).

You can use BWV Preffered points for the VWL, as they are the same.

Thanks so much for the explanations, I appreciate your taking the time to check. I had, of course, hoped that was the answer. (... I did check double-check the dates to be sure that I hadn't entered them incorrectly; didn't want to waste folks' time over a typo...)

OK, now that I know that the possibility is within my budget, it's time to jump over to the other board and see if I get lucky on availability. Thanks again for your help!
