VWL Rooms

We'll be going with another family to WL, with us staying at VWL and them in the regular hotel. Is the DVC building connected to the hotel? Is there a way to request rooms that aren't too far from each other?

The DVC building is seperate from the hotel - there is a covered walkway between the two buildings - its easily walkable, but there is no way your rooms will be anything more than "relatively close." If you are close to the elevators and they are on the DVC side of the WL, you will be four or five times closer than if you are far from the elevators and they are on the other end of the WL.
