We are staying at the VWL the first week of November. I'm not familiar with th eresort layout, but I don't want to be in the furthest spot away. Any suggestions as to a good room or area to request? I have twin boys who will be 6.5 by then.
Thanks! Jen

VWL is the smallest WDW DVC resort. There isn't really much of a view, other than woods view. A few of the villas can overlook the leisure pool and some even get a bit of the lake through the trees. Even the ones closer to the bus stop only see trees. None of the corridors are overly long like they are at BWV.

Well, it depends.

For convenience, you could request first floor. That way, there's no waiting for the elevator at the end of a long day, and you can open the patio door and let the kids out for a little action, especially if you're on the back side. There's a nice little grassy area there, and I've often seen kids out playing. If you prefer upper floors, you could request to be close the elevator, which will put you at the end of the building closest to WL. I usually request upper floor, near elevators, and I haven't been too far away from them.

The only concern I would have is that if you have booked a studio, keep in mind that there is one studio without a balcony (can't remember the room number off the top of my head, but I'm sure someone else can), and there are studios at the far end of the hall that overlook a service area. That's one of the main reasons that I request close the elevators if booking a studio.
