Hi DVCers!
We are staying in a VWL 1BR studio in September. We are not DVC members, we booked our stay through a TA and chose a DVC resort specifically so we would have room for my DM and DS. This will be our (at the time of our vacation) 13 month old son's first WDW trip and my mom will be coming along for a much-needed vacation. When we check in will I be able to request a room as we can when checking in at regular resorts? Given that we will be carting a little guy, stroller, and his gear should we ask for a room near the bus stop and the path to the boat dock (if this is even possible)? Are the upper floors better for views? Anyone have room numbers to suggest?
And finally, just dreaming, but is anyone ever fortunate enough to be upgraded to a 2BR? Mom is young, active and healthy but I still feel pretty guilty about her having to couch camp. How are the pull-out sofas in terms of comfort?
Thanks in advance!
