VWL refurbishment?

Does anyone know any details? When is it starting/ending? Is it just carpet and paint or is it more? We are arriving on February 14th and I was just wondering if it would be complete.

I don't know what is happening...but I can tell you it is happening.

We were in a dedicated 4th floor 2 BR Aug 31 - Sep 5.

On Sep 4th about 1PM, we heard some awful noises coming from the 5th floor. I tried to take the elevator up, but I couldn't access the 5th floor. I eventually contacted the front desk and was told there was light construction and refurbishment happening on the 5th floor.

The noise was scrapping on the floor. We saw lots of construction workers walking in and out, but couldn't determine exactly what was happening.

We were just there last week on the 5th floor adn there was no sign of construction at all. The place also looked as wonderful as always.

I saw something on one of the boards showing a contract and it listed the details, something about hardware, furnishings, etc. I hope they remodel a bit, new flat screen t.v's would be AWESOME too : )

We are going November 8-13th and I thought I saw somewhere that the work permit went through around 11/15. So I think they are planning to be done by then.
