VWL in early December?

I have rented points to stay at SSR in May this year.

I would like to know if the Villas at WL are hard to get in December?

What are the odds I would be able to get around 4 days at the VWL in very early December. I am pretty sure I can get the points to rent but I am wondering if it fills up fast there?

We stayed at the WL our very first Disney Trip last May and fell in love. I will make my husband look into DVC ownership while we are at SSR

I'm all ready - but he isn't getting it. He thought the dining plan was a scam last year and we would get this huge bill when we checked out.

It's very popular time of year @ WLV (beautifully themed/decorated for holidays); we tried when we 1st bought in just a few weeks shy of 11 month window for the 1st week - it was completely booked.

we were able to get the 2nd week

fyi, aside from MVMCP & CP-Epcot, 1st week is usually Pop Warner & mousefest too, good luck

Thanks - I am not set on the first week. It could be the second week two. I am just looking for four days in a row at the Villas.

I want to experience the Christmas decorations and just hop over to MK.

We are taking my MIL in May so I wanted to do a short trip with just the DH, DS and myself.

The VWL get booked up early for the holiday period from Thanksgiving through New Year's Eve. It's going to be tough to get that time of year without being a member there.

We purchased VWL specifically to be able to stay during the first two weeks in December. I book day by day at 11 months. Without being an owner, you have very little chance of getting a room at that time of year.

Your chances are very slim to none to get VWL in early December, especially if you want a studio. It may be somewhat easier (ha ha), if you wanted a 1-br.

Thanks for the heads up. Now - I don't have to be disappointed. I will try but if I can't I may just have to pay top$ for WL.

You should go over to the VWL groupies thread and read a bit. The VWL groupies are great people and they have a lot of good info on our beloved lodge.

Would love to stay here too, but I did notice that there are already three people on the Dec. waitlist thread that say they will be waitlisting at the 7 month mark for a VWL Studio in the beg. of Dec. Looks like a longshot, but dreams do come true. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!
