VWL Duck Race

Just wondering if anyone has attended this and what you thought.

I am thinking of doing this with my DD8 and than doing Chef Mickey. How long does the duck race usually last?

The duck races are fun for the little ones....they run in the afternoon (2 pm?) at WL in the Silver Springs Creek.

They put a bunch of plastic ducks in the creek. A number on the bottom of each duck. All the participants are assigned a number.

Then they let the ducks go and all these little yellow ducks come floating down the creek, with the kids screaming and clapping for their number!!

The first duck to the bottom is pulled out by a CM and the number called out. That person gets a prize...something like a free bike rental for a half hour or some such thing. Seems like 2nd place gets something too!

It's fun, but mostly geared towards the little ones. Depending on your child, 8 should be an age that would enjoy this. As an adult, I was laughing the whole time just watching it!

The duck race lasts about 15 minutes....most of which is the prelude to the 2 minute race itself!
