I will be staying at OKW for 12 nights in a two BR 1/11 to 1/23. I only need the two BRs for the first 6 nights after which the kids and grandkids leave. A one BR at VWL costs the same points as the two BR at OKW. Just for kicks I am thinking of changing my reservation for the last six nights to a one BR at VWL. Anyone think this is a good idea?

What do you think is great about VWL? What would my wife and I enjoy most if we made this change?

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place from the themeing of the resort. I really loved the views from our room.

I like being close to the MK - plus of course this resort is beautiful - but so are all the DVC resorts.

I also like watching from the beach at night the Electric Water Pagen.

the geyser is always fun.

okay sometimes I am just to cook and I certain don't want to out to eat - VWL has room service - real room service. Not just the pizza delivery that OKW has.

if it is raining - you will appreciate being able to move between the Villa and Lodge without getting wet.

this is a lovely resort - I would go for it.

We always choose to use more points at VWL. To us, it's just worth it! :D

All kidding aside, I plan to stay at all DVC resorts at least once each because they all offer a different experience. But we have only stayed at OKW and the rest of the time we go home to VWL.

If you have never stayed at WL (or the villas) you will be in for a unique experience. There is so much to explore at the hotel and the grounds. January (as you know) will be a little cool, so you can cozy up to the several different fireplaces that are at the lodge and at the villas. Ahhhh, the atmosphere!
