VWL - best studio location to request?

As you can see in the picture (VWL with red roof), most of the views are woods.

Some people like to be near the elevators. Some people worry most about smoking or non-smoking requests. Some people need handicap access or want to avoid those rooms like the plague.

So the "best" studio is the one that fits your needs. If you don't care about anything else, you might want to request something near the elevators, even though there aren't any really long walks since it's a relatively small resort.

As Granny said best is really a personal preference. VWL is a wonderful resort. I think it offers the best of quiet and close to action. The resort itself is nice and mellow (you'll have to take the time to enjoy the rocking chairs and villas lobby) but the easy access to MK can't be beat.

Here is a link with some room reports and it will give you some view comments. http://members.aol.com/InstImpres/wildernesslodge.pdf This will give you an idea of “sectional views”. It is extremely difficult to ask for a specific room (as well as trying on the CM’s). With the new room ready policy, guests have reported getting several choices at check-in and this may than help

Good luck

Last May we had #1514, first floor, close to elevator, very close to laundry room. The patio was towards walk way to WL. I sat out there a few times and enjoyed the happy chatter of folks going and coming. If you went left out the room door it was a short walk to end of hall and out "back"door on way to pool or boat to MK. It was a "dedicated" studio - not connected to other room and had two large closets. We loved it.
