I was wondering ... last time we were at VWL, we ended up on the 4th floor ... is the 5th Floor 'preferred' ? It seemed like their balconies are different and that the view would be nicer over the lake, etc.

Is there a limit as to which floorplans are available on the 5th Floor?

Thoughts?

I haven't stayed up high in the villas, but DH and I never liked the top floor balconies at the WL. We felt enclosed, and they were higher than our eye level as we were sitting, so we had to stand to enjoy the view. I think it would be the same in the villas.

Thanks!! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

My prefrerence is for the 5th floor. I like the slanted ceilings in the unit and the solid balcony walls rather than the railings.

For me the unit feels much cozier and the balcony has a much more private feeling.

Not all the balconies on the 5th floor are enclosed. We have stayed there and had the more "open" balconies. Also, IIRC, most of the rooms are the fifth floor are 2BR, so if you typically book a studio or 1BR, there may not be as many of those rooms available.
