VWL and BCV Studio at 7 month window

Hi,

Our home resort is SSR.

We stayed here last year for 2 weeks in June and although we loved it we want to try Villas at Wilderness lodge for 10 nights from 27th May to 5th June and BCV for 9 nights from the 8th June to 17th June this year and wondered if we have any chance of getting a studio at exactly 7months out (booking day to day if we have too)

If you do book day to day do they then link up all your days so you dont have to change rooms?

Is there any way of finding out what the current availability is at the resorts?

There isn't any way of knowing availability. The 26th of May is Memorial Day, a holiday so DVC may be more crowded from people extending the weekend. Plus some schools are out.

If you call day by day and you do get a room, yes, the CM will link the rooms and you won't have to move. On the first day, tell what you want to do, and what the final check out day will be, and they will hold sending you a paper reservation until all of the days have been accounted for. Now, if there's a "hole" at that point the ressie will end and you'll have to begin with another day. Eventually if you get seamless days at a resort, the ressies will be linked.

We didn't have any problem booking a studio at 7 months out for our 5 nights at BCV this past July.

We were booked for a Sun.-Thur. night, checking out on a Friday. By that Wednesday, we knew we wanted to stay an extra night & check-out on Saturday. We knew our chances were slim, but we went down to the front desk, & then called MS & were able to do it. We didn't even have to change rooms! What luck!!
