How to get from VWL to HDDR and back again

How late does the ferry boat run?

Has anyone used their TIW card there?

I know you can only use TIW at the 9:30 show. We took a bus back to our resort after the 7:00 show last year. I will tell you that the bus dropped people off at SoG, Poly, POFQ, All Stars, maybe one more then we went to AKV-K our resort. We were the last 3 on the bus. We had a great driver and he made it enjoyable. That late I would ask how to get a taxi. Ferry will run until the parks close if MK is open late then you should be OK. There are plenty of CMs to ask. So we took boat from MK and bus back to resort. I have heard a couple of threads were people had issues that late but they were taken care of. Again, you can always get a taxi, you may have to take an internal bus up to the front of the campground though to get it.

The ferry that runs Ft. Wilderness - WL - Contemporary should still be running, I think. We were at an earlier show so I can't confirm from personal experience. You don't need the MK ferry when you're staying at WL/VWL. But if not, there are buses.

We found the best way to travel between WL and HDDR is by bus. Service is frequent and quick. One of the Fort Wilderness internal buses continues from Pioneer Hall to the WL, then returns to Pioneer Hall. So it's always one stop away.

We were at the second show last month, 7:30 I believe. Took the ferry from MK to get there. Our original plan was the ferry back. When we got out of the show they had a line of buses waiting for us. They put us on one to our resort. The bus was going to stop at a couple of resorts but ended up with only people for our resort on it. No internal transportation, ferry or regular bus needed. It was a nice surprise as I had not read about that before.

they have always done it for the 9:30 show - at least that was what was told.

must not have as many guests going to it - if they are providing this service for all the shows?

think the boat between the resorts WL/VWL, FW, CR/BLT - runs longer than the MK hours - think it goes until HDDR, California Grill and Artist Pointe are closed for the night.

if something happens and you can't find a way back - just call security. security will either send a bus/shuttle for you - or they will come and get you. this is still one of the benefits of staying on property. (or at least it was)
