We returned from our first stay at VWL. We were in room 5557 which I believe is the fartherest room from the lobby--top floor all the way at the end of the long hall. we loved our room and the view of Bay Lake--it really felt like the Pacific Northwest. Our room was a dedicated 2 bedroom, non-smoking, and was ready when I arrived at 1:30. Check in was very efficient and friendly, as was guest services. The pool slide was closed for rehab the first days we were there, then it got too cold to swim.
The ducks are a little demanding if you have food-I was surrounded by a gaggle (?) of ducks who demanded my nachos--they came right up to my feet, and stared at me between my open knees--one actually pecked a the backs of my knees. Bus service was fairly efficient, although the Epcot bus in the morning was very delayed--we ususally took the TTC bus and transfered to the monorail. We enjoyed the boat service also.
All in all it was a great stay--no problems with any CMs, several "welcome homes", very nice accommodations.
