My husband & I (we are military) got married at the courthouse & never had a wedding. It's been important to me to have a Christian wedding/vowel exchange since we've been married, and I don't know what or how I should do this?
I think a Disney wedding would be grand, but since we are military, we have the option of having it at Shades of Green. Or we can do it at home. The idea of having a beautiful wedding vacation combination just makes me giddy-- vacation with my family & close friends all in 1 week; what great memories!
When we do this, we're looking at something intimate with no more then 40-50 people maximum including us. (And that's pushing it!)
If at SOG can we still do something at Disney for reception? The idea of just having a cake & champagne is kinda blah to me.
I thought about the Cruiseline, but since I want the vows before God & a Christian ceremony, DCL only has a JOP/Clerk do it. Which is out. (Unless I'm missing something?)
and the other option (if I can break her arm into it) is my sister & her husband got married exactly 1 month after us, so would Disney do a "double ceremony" or would we have to pay for 2 seperate packages?
got any ideas or suggestions?
TIA-- Kelly
