Yesterday I was able to do the VQ at 7am. Today it kept saying ineligible . I used chat feature and they confirmed everything looked correct but referred me to help desk. Nothing

We tried at blue umbrella showing pics of park res, tickets and ineligibility screen.

They ran out quick you wouldn’t have gotten one anyways . No help.

Our next Epcot day if we can’t choose us as guests we will move our park to HS.

This is not our 1st time with this. It happened previously.

Hope info helps someone :)

Are you at Epcot now? You should try at 1pm while at one of the guest relations umbrellas. If it doesn't work again, see if they can give you an ILL for it or something.

That's absolutely awful customer service. I can't believe they didn't offer some sort of solution, especially since you could clearly show them it was a problem with their system.

Dd has to work from our hotel later . That’s why we needed it this morning.

I had zero issues yesterday.

Happened to me once. Go to guest services. IT had to do something to help.

My 7am VQ group from last Friday didn't get called until 1:30pm so if you try at the 1pm VQ you may get a later evening you could return for after her work?

Thx for the info. Hmmmm maybe

Oddly we were at Riviera shopping when I checked to see IF we could join. It let me choose our party and I booked while on the bus to MK.

It all depends. Don’t want to be overtired for mvmcp tonight.

We might RS there and back .current time is 4:35p.

The 7 a.m. virtual queue is difficult to get.

While it is disappointing and frustrating to get derailed by a glitch, that is the negative for this system, which features thousands of guests fighting for coveted seats all at once.

It is much easier to get the 1 p.m. drop. You can return late and ride.

When they get rid of the virtual queue, instead of 10 seconds of drama at 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., we will face the decision of paying for a Lightning Lane or potentially waiting in line for 3 hours.

The problem of popular rides using virtual queues vs. having guests waiting for hours in line for hours is a no-win situation.

The cast members that have to deal with people upset they didn't get a virtual queue spot isn't a fun job to have.

The problem with VQ is that the timing is completely out of your hands. For example, we only had one day in Epcot, but we had to leave at 5pm. ILL sold out before we could buy it as we didn’t have an onsite hotel stay (we were on a Disney cruise before) Did not get a VQ until the 1pm drop and was supposed to have a 3 hour return, but the BGs were getting called slower than expected. At 4pm we were close but was clear we wouldn’t have time to wait for the last few groups to be called and then wait in line. We begged and pleaded to get it moved up just a little bit and at the blue umbrellas, at the line entrance, and explained our situation but no dice. Of course our BG gets called as we are walking through the parking lot to our car. It just felt frustratingly arbitrary that we spent a day in Epcot with expensive one day tickets and no way to ride a ride that my kids were super excited for and happily would have waited a couple hours in line for.

We had similar experiences with ROTR and Remy back when those were virtual queues. With ROTR our BG didn’t get called until mid afternoon on an August day when we were all just dying from the heat. We normally would have left to go swim at the hotel but we were stuck waiting for our VQ and the whole experience was so miserable I barely enjoyed the ride. And with Remy our BG got called when we were at a dinner ADR and we had to race back to Epcot after to get in just before park close, which meant our relaxing resort evening turned into having ti battle the fireworks crowds for buses. None of these experiences are pleasant memories—and frankly all a lit more painful than a standby wait.

I have to admit I like the virtual queue. After getting ours at 1 p.m. we returned to the resort and relaxed until about 5 p.m. when we went back to Epcot and did the attraction.

What I didn't like was getting up at 7 a.m. to try to get a VQ pass. It's a stressful way to start the day.

I did notice those ILLs selling out almost instantly. They were obviously priced too low. They should always be available -- for a price. Perhaps that is coming.

Go to the desk next to the Coke thing, not the umbrella. They will help you. You can return for your VQ long after it is expired. Whatever time they give you, you can go back after he is done working. You can do this without him, they will be able to see him from your account.

This is how I feel - I much prefer the VQ. As long as it's around, we can ride for free with a reasonable wait. Once it's gone, it'll be pay or stand in a multi-hour line.

I'm assuming Guardians will be a bit better than Rise since it doesn't go down as often, but I'm sadly assuming it'll still be over an hour wait like all the time.

The only pro to a regular line will be if it takes a significant number of people away from Frozen, TT, and Remy so those can start having more reasonable lines.

I'm guessing the OP showed the info to the CM much later than 7am. I'm not really sure what more the CM could have done at that point, other than recommend trying again at 1. I'm sure they get asked that question 100 times a day from people who claim to have tried at 7am and not gotten a VQ spot.

Since the park isn't open at 7AM it is rather impossible to show it to them at 7AM.

I do agree though, not sure what else they can do after the fact. You can't recreate and troubleshoot the 7AM glitch at 9AM when the park is open. Not sure what the answer is to troubleshoot that problem. There's got to be something. Still worth a phone call in my mind. If it doesn't work, you are going to miss out, may as well get on the phone right then and find out why it's not working. You'll know before 7AM, since you can create your boarding group starting at what is it, 6 AM? If that doesn't work, get on the phone and find out why.

They should never give a response of "you wouldn't have gotten one anyway" That's just a nasty and condescending response. Even if they can't help. And frankly, untrue. When we use the time.gov site to watch the clock, we've never missed out.

I had the same issue with the 1:00 release. Once 1:00 hit, I was ineligible. I gave up.

That was part of my issue with our last trip. I felt I had no control over what we did during the day, whether it was VQ, G+, or ILL's.
