Vow Renewal?

my hubby and i took a family trip to wdw in may, while we were there he decided he would like for just me and him to take a trip next may by ourselves. we stayed at OKW on a golf course and he so badly wanted to play some golf. A trip for just the two of us we could do some adult activities like play a round of golf togeather and such. Anyway the other night i jokingly mentioned something about renewing our vows while were there this year. He really liked the idea and we are now in the beginning phases. My ? is at our first wedding three yrs ago i wore a simple white gown. more of what like a maid of honor would wear. i did this because it was a ceremony with just the two of us at a wedding chappel in TN. didnt see the point in having a big lavish dress and all that for just the two of us. But now im thinking i would love to have the wedding i always dreamed of. of course it would still be just the two of us but i still wont the beatiful cinderalla ball gown type wedding dress. My? really is, is this stupid for just the two of us or should i go with something more low key. I m thinking hey its Disney World, a fairy tale wedding so i should have a cinderall type gown. What do u guys think. Will we look odd just the two of us and a big fancy dress?

I would be the fairytale princess you want to be. I had the big wedding 18 years ago, with the big 80's bow on the backside wedding dress, and I am planning on having another big fancy (no bow on the backside this time) dress. I think you should do what your budget allows and have the dress you truly want.

Disney is a magical place...we say that here all the time. Live the magic!

Thank you I think i will. I have already found the type of dress I want. Whats so funny I never thought I would want a dress like that but since were doing it in disney I cant imagine anything else. Im looking for the ballgown type with the tulle. im so excited! Im just busting with excitement!

Definately get the dress you want. Dh and I put together our wedding for $200. It was great for it only being $200, but we both really wanted the real wedding dress and tux thing...a real photographer. We are going to try to do a vow renewal soon. We are going to do everything like it's our first wedding since we really didn't have what we would have liked.
