Vow Renewal-thinking about one for March 2011.

In March 2011 DH will have been together for 19 years(yikes! where has time gone!) married for almost 15 1/2 years. The anniversary of the day we met is in March and we initially wanted to get married that day but we were engaged in December and March was too close and we didn't want to wait an additional year so we chose August instead. We figured a vow renewal on the day we met March 15, awesome!

I have to stop for a minute and I need to thank MainstMandy(Amanda) because before I started reading her planning journal we thought we missed our chance, wanted a Disney wedding but did it at home instead. Our wedding wasn't really for "us" it was more for our families, heck my parents picked the location, we got married in a church to please the grandparents, nothing really was our decision, short of getting married that is. LOL But after getting hooked on Amanda's journal(and shhh DH did too! LOL) we decided what the heck we CAN still have our wedding! So a big thanks to Amanda and Eric for inspiring us to finally have "our" wedding.

I have no idea where to start, it'll probably be an Escape although a wishes isn't out of question at this point. How do you even start planning this far ahead?

Love Vow renewals....we renew ours every 10 years. First one in Disney on our own on a balcony of OKW, and then splurged for our 20th on the Disney Magic. We are thinking for our 30th the DVC resort in Hawaii.

I say go for it. Any way you can show your love for each other is a good thing!!

Welcome and congratulations!!!
DH and I promised our family we would have a "proper" wedding down the line one day. Well we decided our 10th anniversary was the perfect excuse to have it.

We are now just waiting to get our date for Feb 2011 and so excited about it!
