Vow Renewal Question

So a while back I started planning my vow renewal, its not going to be for a long time, but I was wondering...

We are thinking of buying into DVC by the end of next week, and if we do, for the vow renewal packages I see on the website it includes accomodations, but having a DVC we would already have our accomodations. Do they take any money off for us using our DVC and not using the hotel?? I would much rather use my points than stay in the hotel.

I don't think a resort stay is included in any of the DFTW packages. I know it was at one time but now I think you are just required to have a minimum of 4 nights anywhere on property for Escape weddings and certain room block minimums for Wishes weddings.

When you book a wedding, you are required to book a minimum 4 night stay at any Disney owned and operated resort, and that includes DVC. You will use your reservation confirmation number as "proof" when you book your vow renewal.

None of the Disney packages include the accommodations anymore so there would be no "cost savings".

I'm pretty sure you are looking at old information (the biggest "hint" being the dates at the bottom saying "03")
