Voucher Exchange

We are travelling to Florida in July and have vouchers to exchange for our Disney Passes. This is no problem as we have done this before at the ticket window at the first park we visit as we are normally at the park before it opens on our first day in Florida. However, this year we have Cinderella’s Royal Breakfast booked for 08:10 on our first full day, so ideally I need to exchange the vouchers for tickets the day before i.e. the day we arrive. Bearing in mind we will have our own transport (hired minivan) and we are staying near Medieval Times on the 192, my questions are:

1) What time do the ticket windows open at Magic Kingdom – will they be open early enough to exchange vouchers for tickets to gain early entry for the 08:10 breakfast.
2) If, to be on the safe side, I exchange the vouchers for tickets the day before, then which would be the easiest place to do it? The plan would be to drop everyone off at the Villa around 16:00 and then I’ll go on my own to exchange the vouchers.
3) Will I be able to exchange tickets for our family (5) by myself, or do we all need to be present, and is any ID required.

If anyone has a list of places that do voucher exchange then I may be able to see which the best option for us is.

Cheers

What day of the week is your breakfast booking? If it's an Extra Magic Hour day for MK (currently Sunday and Thursday, but WDW are trialling a new schedule, so this could change), then the turnstiles will be open for on-site guests an hour before scheduled park opening, making it likely the guest services windows will be open long before your breakfast reservation time.

On non Extra Magic Hour days, I would expect the windows to opena at least 45 minutes before the turnstiles, but I'm only guessing - and that may be cutting it fine for breakfast at 8:10 am.

I think there is a Guest Services desk at Downtown Disney where you should be able to exchange your vouchers the evening before you need to use the tickets.

If you have APs, then I think you may need to show some ID, but for hopper passes you won't need everyone present.

Thanks for the info - our Royal Breakfast is on a Friday so it's not a Magic Kingdom Early Entry day so I think I'll play safe by exchanging the day before at Downtown Disney Guest Services - do you know if there is a charge for parking at DTD or is it free?
It seems to be the closest place to our Villa to exchange anyway.

There is no charge for parking at DTD but I dont remember ever seeing a guest services window that will exchange vouchers for tickets - only a few booths selling PI tickets or DVC. I may be wrong on this though as I havent tried to exchange tickets ther - just suggest you have a "plan B" as well.

Thanks

Just been given a leaflet for Downtown Disney by a guy at work - although it's 2 years out of date it shows Guest Services and a note saying ' Your Ticket to Fun! To purchase any Disney Tickets, just stop by Guest Services, located inside the AMC24 Theatres Complex and near Toys Fantastic' - apparently it's in the Marketplace area of DTD. I'll check that voucher exchange is definitely possible there before I go.

this may not apply to you but we all had to show valid id when we exchanged our fun in the sun passes in April.

We also stayed near medeival times, after checking the villa out and buying some essentials we went to Epcot to see the illuminations, so were able to exchange our vouchers there with no problems.

It was nice to get the holiday off with abang!...We didnt bother about finding the best spot , we just stood near the start of the World showcase which allowed to make a quick exit and we were back at the Villa for 10
