We will be visiting during the Halloween Party and I am a fireworks fanatic! We plan on watching the party fireworks and the regular fireworks at least once from in front of the castle inside DL but I was wondering where the best locations are outside the parks. This will be our first trip to DLR so thanks for any advice and opinions you have to offer!!

I've watched them from the Esplande. You can see the high fireworks, but none of the low ones and they do not pipe in the music.

I am also a fireworks fanatic. When not in the park, we have watched them from the esplanade (between Disneyland and California Adventure) as well as from DT Disney. Depending on which hotel you are staying at, The HoJo on Harbor has great views (either from the waterpark area or your balcony if you are facing the park). Paradise Pier pipes in the music on their pool deck with a pretty good view of the fireworks. Of course, there is no substitute from being front and center but for the days that you don't go into the parks the above spots have worked well for us.

We have done the top of the Mickey and Friends parking structure, but if I can't get up there...I watch them in DTD on the bridge above Disneyland Drive next to the Pin Traders.

I like this spot too because after the fireworks, we can hop in the car and drive away. No waiting in lines for the tram, and no lines to get out of the parking garage.

We will be staying at Paradise Pier-is it the best Disney hotel to watch from? Having never been to DLR I cant picture the logistics of the resorts and fireworks at all..lol

Hi,

While I can not exactly tell you how the view from Paradise Pier Hotel is, I can tell you that the view from the Disneyland Hotel room was very nice. In some respects we even liked it better than being in the park. I would hope for you that the view from Paradise pier is similar. You should have a good view of World of Color while staying at paradise pier, even if it just the basic colors projected on the water.

We've loved watching them from the Grand Californian Downtown Disney view rooms! On our last trip we saw fireworks every night either in the parks or from our room (with music from TV). The view from downtown Disney was also nice!
