""It's absolutely essential that eight weeks from today, on Nov. 2, we make the right choice, because if we make the wrong choice then the danger is that we'll get hit again and we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States."

Dick Cheney

Full Story. .

Nice to see that dishonest, vulgar, gutless, chickenhawk resort to such disgusting threats. . shows the desperation of Bush's campaign. .

"I had other priorities. . "

Evil Dick on avoiding service in Vietnam. . .

Yes I agree. Thanks for reminding everyone.

First and foremost, this election is about national security. Without this, nothing else matters.

As usual, just trying to scare everyone into voting for them.

Can't fool me.

Vote for Kerry or die:

"[Bush's policies have] made America less safe than we should be in a dangerous world"

There are a pletora of examples where Kerry has said this.

so, I fail to see the difference

Yeah, ok. If you say so.

There is a difference between saying we are less safe and saying that we will actually be attacked if Kerry gets elected.

Um, I'm not voting for Bush because I'm scared.

Did I miss something? I don't see anywhere in the quote that says 'Vote for Bush or die'...I guess I need glasses or something...

Didn't say you were.

I find that to be just so wrong on so many levels.

What, is Cheney making plans for Nov 3rd? one way or the other? I'm trying to figure out if he is actually making a threat or making a guarentee against any further attacks on the US if they are elected? And if he is in the position to make a guarantee of safety, if he loves this country why wouldn't he do whatever that would be regardless of who is elected?

Really? How so? What would "less safe" eventually result in?

So why are you votiong for Bush then Elwood?

Terrorism is up; the Bush people trot out "terror alerts" every few weeks; and over $200 Billion spent and a 1,000 American lives lost in Iraq for nothing but Haliburton profits. . .

Quite a record for Evil Dick and Duh-bya to run on. . . "Smear and Fear" . . that's all they have. .

Excellent post "By The Sea'. . couldn't agree more. . :) :)

Kerry is attacking policies that he feels makes us less safe. And he has ideas that woould make us safer.

Cheney is saying if you vote for kerry, we WILL be attacked. But why and how? What can they do to protect us.

What will Kerry do that will make America safer?

Dick Cheney's my homeboy! CHuuuuuuuuuuuch.

Thank you for that insightful anaylsis Joe! :)

Don't expect an answer to your questions from these people LoraJ. . . . but I have a feeling John Edwards will be asking those same questions during the debate with Cheney and. . . well, wouldn't expect an answer then either, but it will be fun to watch. . ;) :teeth:

An example of one of those ideas would be...what?

Again, parse it any way you want, it's still a scare tactic.

Kerry has higher priorities then making the country safe for gynocologists to spread their looove. . .
