What can I order that would be good for breakfast and lunch in our room? Easy and quick yet filling with energy for the day. I love fresh fruits but they give out mid day.

When we order vons, we get a loaf of bread, and a jar of peanut butter and a jar of jelly... I also order a small thing of plastic silverware and paper plates, and ziploc baggies... then I get the pre-washed pre-bagged apple slices & baby carrots, and the mini-chip bags. Then I make lunch and baggie it all up and take it to the park with us, or just make it and we eat in the room before rest time. I also order vitamin water & regular bottled water.

Can't really help with breakfast, we are real breakfast eaters (the most important meal of the day!!) So we usually order room service--eggs and meat--and protein load before we hit the parks!! ;)

I suppose if you aren't going to be sick of peanut butter, you could order bagels and eat them cold with peanut butter for breakfast... or granola bars and that sort of thing...

I always order bagels and cream cheese for the adults and the small individual kids cereals. pint of milk (fits better in the fridge), half and half for coffee.
Case of water, gatorade, juice boxes. These are great becuz you can refrigerate as needed.
loaf of bread and pb & j, granola bars, fresh fruit, cheese sticks, pretzels, chips, dried fruit and crackers.
We bring snacks in with us to eat in line, we make sandwiches for at least 2 days then we're good and sick of them so we'll buy lunch after that.
Eating breakfast in the room saves time and money:goodvibes

Don't forget the cocktail makings. Not sure if they'll deliver alcohol now, have read on other threads that you may have to be there to sign for it. At Hojo's the vodka wasn't an issue, they delivered it and I didn;t have to be present or sign for it. At GCH I believe you have to be there.

Thanks for the reminder of the drinks and mixers. Saves so much to have it in the room and just go out for a walk with a roadie.

Great ideas for the breakfast and snacks in line. I read the weather is getting so hot so we will need a lot of liquids.

We take lunch meats, cheeses, pickles, peppers, onions etc etc and use those for sandwiches which we will eat for lunches or dinners if we are in our room. For bfasts we eat fruits and muffins mostly. Don't forget waters, juices and if you guys like cereal get some cereal and milk.

FTR we drive so it's easier for us to take things like pickles, peppers, onions, tomatoes....

Canned chicken or tuna, shelled sunflower seeds, small jar light mayo, tomato, loaf of bread.

All that equals a really good sandwich that fills you up! Must bring a can-opener, tho. And snag some salt packs from the park to season the salad.

We love peanut butter and bagels. :)
