OK! Now that I have your attention hehe. I've been working on my greeting card site and would like to invite all of you to help me test it out! It's very much under construction but I would like some feedback while I'm working on it to see if I need to make any changes to my plans.

Here's what ya do!

I've created a special test page with just some photos I took at WDW. I just need you to go to the page and send yourself or a friend a card then retrieve the card via the email that is supposed to be sent. Just let me know what you think of it..was it easy, was it something you would find useful..and do you have any suggestions for cards or features. If you do not feel like posting your opinions publicly, feel free to PM me!

All links have been disabled on the page - only the greeting cards work.

Looks very nice, lot of work, nice layoutr, simple. I did not get a confirm, not sure if that was disabled. I did get the card I sent, music and all.

Any problem with using the Disney logo??

I liked the site ... a few things I'd change though

- add a blank line between each row of pictures, just for visual spacing between the lines

- send a confirmation to the sender that the card has been sent

- is it possible to also send a message to the sender when the card is picked up?

Edit - 2 more things I noticed:

- the resulting card links to http://disneygreetings.jb-ds.com/ , but the link doesn't work (seems that the dns may not have propogated yet)

- no privacy policy posted. I don't think that you're mining email addresses, but I'd like to see it in writing.

It displays a thank you screen after you hit the send button. I do notice that for e-mails with spam protection it may not work. As far as the Disney logo - I just thought of that myself. It's a Disney font - not a logo I stole from a website or anything. I've seen many fansites using the logo like that though. I think it should be OK as long as I'm not selling the cards & there will be a legal disclaimer stating I'm not affiliated with Disney in any way. I actually went around with Disney about this before. lol They said my site was adorable but they cancelled my affiliation.

I have been messing with the color on the table forever. I think it looks cleaner with a clear bg. I'll probably do away with the colored table all together.

When you hit send it displays a confirmation page.

I want to keep it fun and simple, but I am trying to find an add on that will send a message with the card is retrieved. That is a feature I miss, however I'm not a programmer so I'm not that very familiar in writing the PERL code.

Thanks! I was proud of my photography skills on my last vacation hehe... BTW I don't know any of those people in the photos lol. I just thought they were cute moments so I snapped!


I had an affiliation with the Disney Store on my web site. Basically I got paid for displaying their ads. I can't remember I was paid a percentage of what someone bought when they clicked on the ad or it was per click? It was actually a funny story. Disney sent me an email telling me they canceled it and I thought it was one of those automated things. I was having a bad day so I hit reply and typed "Oh bite me!" LOL - The Disney Rep that sent it to me said she laughed so hard when she read it and that it had made her day lol. They were very nice. lol

The card arrived but no music. Maybe I goofed somewhere. I liked it though. Easy to use and I like being able to choose my font and background color. Nice work!

I don't know why but it won't go to one of my email addresses either. I believe it's because of SPAM filtering.
