Volunteering for Wine and Dine 1/2

My dh and I signed up to volunteer for the Wine and Dine 1/2 marathon. I singed up a little bit late and we were put on the waiting list. I was just wondering if anyone else who has signed up to volunteer has had any information from RunDisney yet? I thought they said they would be sending emails about one month before the race, but I have not heard anything.

Also, if anyone has been on a wait list for volunteering, did they end up needing you to volunteer? We will be at Disney that night anyway, that is the last night of our stay for the food and wine festival.
