Voluntary Leave Transfer Program for Government Workers

When you donate leave to someone who needs it, are they made aware that you donated it?

at my former government place of employment they were not advised who donated.

also, at one time my former employer would not allow you to designate to a specific employee. it went into a general catastrophic leave bank which could be utilized by anyone who qualified. my departement eventualy changed this so that individuals could designate leave to a specific co-worker.

I'm a Govt Personnel Manager and yes, we notify them that leave has been donated. We do not provide the who or how many hours unless they request it. We have also had employees donate leave and ask not to be identified (other than the documentation used to transfer the leave.)
