Volcano Bay ticket question

Hi
I am a bit confused about Volcano Bay tickets...Is it like adding Disney waterparks to a disney ticket or if I buy a 4 day 3 park ticket does Volcano Bay count as one of the days?

For example a 4 day disney ticket with waterpark option gives me 4 days in a disney park plus 4 days at a water park.

At universal is a 4 day ticket just good for 4 days?

The 3 park-to-park ticket is a like a Disney hopper, where the 3 parks are the Studios, Islands, and Volcano Bay. You can come and go to any of them as many times as you like during the day for the number of days you purchased. There is also a 2 park-to-park for just the Studios and Islands. The 1 park ticket only allows entrance to a single park per day. It also comes in a Studios/Islands and Studios/Islands/Volcano Bay version. I believe the number of days is like Disney. You can only enter parks on the number of days on the ticket; however, the ticket is good for 14 days from first use.

The latter. It counts as one of your days. At least from everything I have read/seen.
