Volcano Bay on thanksgiving Day or Black Friday?

So we are heading to the world the week of Thanksgiving for my DD's 16th birthday on November 18. She wants to hit Volcano Bay on either Thanksgiving day or Black Friday. Anyone have any insight to which day would be better? This will be our first time at Volcano Bay so we don't know what to expect.

Probably Thanksgiving day, but this time of year is lighter than usual anyway since the weather can be too cool for locals. Really depends on the weather more than which day, though.

We are going to same week and while my DD really wanted to go to Volcano Bay we decided against it. We were there this time in 2016 and the weather is very temprimental (sp??) One morning it was cold so we actually wore pants and hoodies to the parks. The next morning we wore shorts but still had sweatshirts. Luckily you can go and watch the weather forecast and pick whatever day is warmer as the time gets closer.
