Voicemail message

So I walk into work today and have a voicemail message from yesterday. Since no one else is really around, I put it on speakerphone and dial all the appropriate access numbers...

Message 1: Alyssa's voice, "Awwwwwwww man! Daddy's not there. Mommy! Does daddy have another phone?"

Fortunately she got a hold of me on my cell phone

Did you save it? Chris has several of the messages the kids have left for him and every once in awhile he listens to them. There is one of Mo saying "He isn't there...Mom, he isn't there! It is his answering machine....are you liiiiiiistening to meeee he isn't there!" and another of Elliot breathing heavily and then really loud yells DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. LOL

It's saved for two weeks. After that I'd have to figure something else out.

Funny thing is, she just called me 20 minutes ago. I guess she does miss me

My niece and nephew called me at work on my birthday--they didn't know I wasn't there--and sang Happy Birthday to me. And everyday after that, whenever I was having a tough moment, I would listen to it. Made me smile!
