VMK's Sound Quality gone down?

I was at the music game for my first time in a long time today. When I was playing my song, I realized something.

The quality of the songs has gone WAY down. I mean this in the way that the sound is not as clear, or it is a tad more garbled.

I understand that they must have done it to reduce load times and to help kill the DC monster. It's not really that bad, it's just noticible if you haven't been there in a while.

What are your thoughts?

Mine still sounds the same. But that's probably because I have the sound shut off in the game and with the mute button.

I bet this wasn't helpful at all.

I do have the sound on but I never go into the music room if I can help it and when I do go in there is all sounds like noise to me anyway....

but I will take a listen the next time I go in....

last time I listened to my music mix I thought "hey, they fixed it so it's not off-beat!" then I turned the speakers off and went about my merry way.
I'll give it a listen today since you mentioned the garbledness.
