I had just gotten my Gold Ears!! And then I found out that they were closing and I'm so sad they closed. I hate that they won't even look at all the patitions that we signed they just don't seem to care.

On the VMK website it said that it was only for the 50th celebration of Disneyland. They didn't expect it to be open for as long as it was. The only thing that I don't get is why don't they close down Soarin' and everything else that was a celebration? I still think that's a stupid reason for them to shut down VMK. Virtual Family Kingdom just sucks. A lot. It's confusing. I don't even know how to earn credits.

I never got into VMK. It just wasn't my kind of game. And it WAS just a game. So, it's easy to say that you guys are overreacting.

But I can't say it. I play a great MMORPG called Mabinogi. It has a really tight-knit community that I've sorta fallen into. Many friendships of mine have been forged or strengthened over that game. So it may just be a game on the surface, but underneath... it's something much, much more. And if it shut down... I prefer not to think about that.

So I can really relate to how you guys feel about VMK.

And believe me, if I were to miraculously become president of Disney, VMK would be the first thing to come back.

Mabinogi? What a small world I play Maplestory! Anyway back on topic! I miss VMK two... I loved it but... there were some people getting two attached too it like the people who dressed up as babys and made familys and the people who dressed up as like pets and wolves but anyway it was super awsome and ever since they shut it down I have not ofound a game to fill the void... and so ends my VMK story

VMK was a great game and I had lots of fun on it. I like thinking back about my times on it. What I don't understand is why Disney didn't even consider having a pay-to-play option so they could make money and all of us could continue to have fun.

Yea I totally agree I mean all there other games are horrible and it costs money to play them!

I want to say one thing, that this is so sad. Okay, I was on another "forum" and I read that the VMK site has officially CLOSED down. Can you say, wow? I mean, that's really messed up. I KNOW IT WAS JUST A GAME. But, you know what? it meant something to others and you all have your opinions on the game, but to me, I loved that game.
