VMK you let me down again! As many of you know your account stays on when you log out.. My sister was asking me if i am still on i said no my account was in the same place i logged off at. I went to go on and chat with some friends I get a thing that pops up you have been banned for a month! I am very dissapointed see you all in a month!

This is very strange, unless someone got on your account ( like someone in your household ) and broke a VMK Value i dont see any other way, you were not saying anything because you were logged out right? and if someone else was to break a value while your character was not doing anything it is their fault, not yours. Or VMK could have made a oopsie...

Its always a possibility that the ban is from something you did a while ago, it often takes them time to review.

You can go to contact us and choose "I think I am banned" you will get a response as to why and then you will at least know if its from today or not.

I've heard of people being banned just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Someone may be breaking the values in the room, and everyone around gets the ban.

Yes, that is what I have heard as well. As I posted in another thread, for safety purposes I always go to one of my own rooms that I only allow myself into and then exit the game from there. Sorry about the ban, hope you can get it worked out!

I am not accusing anyone of lieing, but I have yet to see any reliable information of anyone getting banned for just being present with someone breaking the values.

They don't ban you for this.

I don't know if I'm on the spot with this, but I'm thinking I might have been. I got a ban for 10 years (that was really only 1 day) on Easter '06. The next day I could get on, and of course it was the whole IP. I have absolutely no idea, and all they said was "you have been banned for not following the VMK values". Wow, maybe you should expand on that a little?

I might have found somethin that was strange the same day my sister was banned for a month maybe it banned the laptop because she plays on it a lot maybe i should try at my grandparents

Well if your sister got banned the same day made vmk thought you were a mule of your sister and banned you too..

more likely if they banned your sister its an IP ban. Yes try at your grandmothers. BUT if you do the contact us "I think I am banned" you will find out without going anywhere.

I am sad too. I was banned for 24 hours last night and I didn't understand why? I was in my room talking with my best friend. I think VMK staffs have banned a lot of people yesterday.
