Yes, you definatly need lots of memory with Vista, I wasnt extremly happy with its speed when i had 2GB of ram so I added 2GB more, now its nice and fast.

I got my new laptop a few months ago, and it's with Windows Vista. I had no problems with it at all. VMK worked fine as well as all the other features and things it is connected with. People say that Vista is terrible and doesn't work properly, but I've ran into no problems at all.

So.. All I can conclude with is that it's not Windows Vista that is acting weird it's the person behind the screen.

I just got a laptop with Windows Vista Ultimate and have absolutely NO problems playing VMK (or with anything else). I actually LOVE Vista and would not switch back to XP for anything. One thing you may want to check is how much ram your computer has. I did a lot of research before I bought my computer and found out that Vista requires minimum 1 GB of ram, but it probably would run slow, so 2 GB is recomended. If your computer has less than 2 GB, that could be the problem. You probably have plenty of memory, but there could be something with a firewall or shockwave/flash not being installed or not being up to date (like others were saying). I hope that you can get your computer to work with VMK!

my friends mom just got a new laptop with vista on it. VMK works perfectly fine.. Weird.
