VMK T-shirts

Bob, what happened again? I can't remember your first experience with Steve.

Has anyone ever complained to Disney about him?

I forgot my tour guides name but we didn't go on BTM because it was going to rain but I still got a pair of teleporters and I got to ride it later on and I got to ride Splash Mountain!

Yes I would like to add that this picture is very sentimental to me as well. You see it is the last picture of my favourite Disney hat and I. Yes it was just awhile later that we departed ways on splash mountain. I looked around and others were wearing their caps so I did not listen to my inner voice. And I am very sad to say my hat is buried somwhere on the splash mountain steep drop slope. I heart Disney so now I can honestly say I really did leave a part of me behind. At least until they reburbish the ride and find pieces of in then it is off to the Disney trash. I was so sad that I could not ride this ride again while I was there. Maybe never again. Worst I saw someone on the cruise who was wearing the same hat. You can not get it anywhere. It was very unique with the ying and yang in the form of a Mickey. I found another unique hat but it will never replace my first love. So the picture is so nice to remind me of a better day. A day before the laughing place became my hats graveyard.

So sad but I will get over it. It could have been worst I almost lost my camcorder when I left it on a bench. Now that one brought tears to my eyes. I think in more of self defense as it was a christmas present from my DH and I had only had it 4 days. So before he could get upset the tears stopped him in his spot and voila. No freak out just retraced our steps and there it was. I was happy made loosing my beloved hat nothing in comparision. And my poor Dh all he could say I will never forget that face as the tears welled up. So he was too busy remembering my sad face than telling me to never let go of the camcorder bag. I yes I never did. Even kept it on when I went to the washroom. lol So that is my ode to my long loved hat.

Guess no one read my ode to my Mickey Hat. So i will grieve alone.:(

Zazzle refused to make the VMK shirt for me - said the logo was protected as it was a trademark. I am surprised that they made them for you!

What is against VMK rules is revealing your true name so unless your t-shirts said:

Jane Doe = ZoeyDoey in VMK then you were not breaking any rules!

And besides who gives him the right to chaste/humilate you in public in front of all those other people.

I would send a letter of complaint to WDW about that tour guide.

Cool Shirts and a Great Job!

Mal

PS Belle sorry about your hat!

Your shirts look great! I think it was silly for them to say anything negative to you about wearing them.

Seriously the VMK rules are getting out of hand if this is true. I would understand if you were wearing a shirt on your VMK character that had your real name on it, but this is just ridiculous. How can anyone find out anything about you-even where you live- just from your VMK name or picture? I think this guide must be a looney tune and a half! I would have laughed out loud hysterically at him if he had said such things to my family, and if he would have stopped to go to the bathroom I would have encouraged the group to ditch him! But I am a trouble maker! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Cool shirts Darthjordan! :cool1:

I made my own. I do not think Pinygirlygirl's family used the VMK logo just the characters and name.

Yes, we did not have the VMK logo anywhere on our shirts which is why we were able to have them made through Zazzle.

The only thing I can think of why Disney is cracking down on VMK names being shared (or maybe it is just this particular tour guide - he didn't seem to like the idea of adults playing VMK - Lol!) is because now you know who is a kid and who is an adult on VMK? If you've run into PhantomofB, supposedly according to VMK, you don't know whether he is a kid or an adult - now that he's walking around with a shirt advertising his screen name, you now know for a fact. Anyone at Disney that plays VMK that saw my DH's shirt now knows that BlueManlyGuy is indeed an ancient MAN! LOL! This is just my guess since they go through elaborate extents to keep it a secret whether the characters on VMK are kids or adults...

And LittleBelle, I did read your sad post about your missing hat. :( :( :( As soon as I read it, I went over to ebay hoping to find you another one, but no luck. Hugs to you my friend........ :grouphug:

Little Belle, there may be some hope of getting your hat back. I took a backstage tour at WDW a few years ago. One of the things they showed us was the area behind the Splash Mountain building where the lost hats, soda bottles, etc. wash up at the end of the day. My understanding is the non-trash items are retrieved and sent to Lost and Found. So, it's probably worth the effort to contact Guest Relations and Lost and Found to find out if they have your hat. Be prepared to give a detailed description (shouldn't be hard, you can provide a picture!). Knowing the exact date and approximate time you lost the hat would be helpful information for them.

Of course, this info may be completely out of date but I figured I share it with you just in case you can get your hat back!

Thanks, My Dh asked the ride operator if there was any chance of getting my hat back. He just looked at him and laughed. So I thought it was hopeless. Is there a number to call guest relations. Since I am back home now?

Yes call! Otherwise, it will end up at property control and sold for 50 cents!

Here is the number for guest relations - 407-824-4321. Sorry about your hat and good luck.

I'll be sporting this "nifty" tee when I get down there...

Are you serious. Wow do you have guts after the balling out pinkygirlygirl got with her family. Please let us know what happens. And is it true what your shirt says. And you still can play VMK. WOW. Really keen on hearing what happens. Are you wearing it on a VMK that should be really interesting to watch. Make you your undercover video tape is running. Good luck and hope no harm comes to Irish hockey. :)
