I tried entering the queue for another instance of the courtyard hoping I might be able to walk then. Was behind 4, it got down to 2, and then I got disconnected. And now I'm getting the "This site cannot be found" type messages.

I agree, I think it just went kablooie. I can only imagine what fun tomorrow and Sunday will be! Luckily I will not even be at my computer until late at night tomorrow. Save me from my blood pressure rising, haha.

Well. I have been getting both White screens. I know that the VMK Team will not be able to do any permanent changes most likely to the max capacity of the game, but I wouldnt doubt the game closing for a bit for maybe some temporary changes or something::

Besides you already have people agreeing to sell you there rugs for your offer, so you'll have plenty of them.

I believe that was just MagicalLadee, and she's in the same boat that I'm in (gl!). It's just that I have something going on tonight, so I had this ONE HOUR WINDOW to get awesome rugs for my At World's End ride.

You don't understand the mindset that I'm in: I've been planning for weeks to come home and use this hour to get as many items as I can. Once I saw that the prize were murky rugs, I was ecstatic and resolved to stay in front of the computer and get as many as I could.

Alas, my plans have been torn asunder. And I can only hope that people will leap at my offer.

As for folks that were unable to sign on all day but remained positive, I congratulate you. I wish I had your patience. I just hope that nice DIS-ers will be able to give you what you deserve.

But I am entitled to my opinion. And those of you who say it is "wrong," either have all night to continue riding, or have gotten hundreds of rugs already. So, you can't possibly understand my frustration.

Yup add me to the list! Goff a ride and was in a queue and then finally room opens up and no one it and then in few mins and then the crash and it said lost of connection!!

This is crazy... I can only figure what tomorrow will bring???

Nope, I work for a living. I got home at 6:30 pm, fed the kids and logged on. I rode for a whopping 11 times. It's just easier to laugh at this kind of stuff. Yes, you are entitled to your opinion. And so am I.

I've only been on VMK for the Slide Ride-a-thon and the Space Mt. Ride-a-thon.

I think that the system is not logging off people correctly. I was checking on my kids' characters. I had each of them ride a few times and then closed their windows. They still show up on my friends list as still on VMK when I know they are not. This is also causing some of the backups in the Fantasyland Courtyard because people are standing around instead of being logged off properly.

I also think it's not logging off players correctly. I crashed, and yet even though the Kingdom was full, I was able to refresh and get right back in the game. But there are a lot of folks standing around the courtyard and not moving at all. I like the ride-a-thon, but I think it would've been simpler to have it in multiple Host rooms. Not the same as the rides, but still. I just think the rides seem to be very heavy on system resources, and with all those players mostly running to those rides, just seems like a disaster waiting to happen. It could work well perhaps if they had better servers/more server space, but as it is now, I think it's too much for the game to take.

ETA: I'm frozen in place, but I can still check the map. All courtyard rooms are at 3 red Mickeys.

I think so, too, SorcererDonald. I just came off the ride, got back in line, paid my 10 credits and then stepped away like you do when you forget about that pay the credits box. So, I did it again. Same result. I hit refresh, found 11 messages that I hadn't received in my mail box and am in queue for a fantasyland courtyard. it's to be expected. Believe me, the ride-a-thons used to be much worse, even a year ago when I started. From what I've heard here on this board, they were atrocius before that.

I do think this may be the problem. I was in my room with AmberPrincess and she needed to log off to do things at home. Her character just stayed there for a few minutes before I finally left to go riding again.

I managed 1 ride after waiting to get into the courtyard. Then had to wait in the queue to get back into courtyard and just got dc'd. Still can't log back in.

Hopefully, they can figure out the problem soon so we can all get back to riding.

Yup...add me to the list! I was in a queue frrom the Alice ride and then finally after about 10 mins...the courtyard opens up..
but there is no people of anything!! Then it just crashes on me!

Yup that what I have been saying now... I can only imagine what tomorrow will bring..what with no school? arggggggggggggg

As much as we don't like to see the site down, let's just take a minute and think about what the vmk team is going through right now. It is a major event and the game appears to have crashed.

Why not give the VMK Team some encouragement:

VMK Team I am behind you! I do believe you are doing all that you can to get the site back up and running for all of us. You can do it!
