VMK Insider Tour

capecad and I did this tour last month :)

When you go to the Magic Kingdom, go into VMK Central which is on the right side of Main Street USA. Ask for the Quests. They will hand you 3 (I think!) folders that look like big scratch-off tickets. There are several questions on each Quest folder. You have to scratch off the gold spot next to the correct answer. You find the answers by walking around the Magic Kingdom, hence the name "quests". You are on a quest to find the right answers :)

Once you have them all completed, you bring them back to VMK Central where a CM will check them for you. Once you have all the right answers, they will give you what looks like a trading card. You take this trading card back towards the entrance of the MK, to Town Hall. Inside Town Hall, there are CMs who will then schedule you to go on the real VMK tour. The tours are twice each day and last about 2 hours. They only take a limited number of people on each tour. The tour times are about 1pm and 4pm, or something like that (maybe 1:30 and 4:30?).

Anyway, on the day that your tour is scheduled for, just show up back at VMK Central and the Tour Guide will give you a badge with your name on it. :) Then he takes you around the Magic Kingdom. During this time he will ask various questions and you can win more trading cards that have codes on them. The Tour Guide will also take you on a few rides/attractions and you won't have to wait in line :teeth: When you get home, you enter the codes on VMK and that gets special items for your VMK character :) You will end up with a lot of trading cards with codes, by the end of the tour :)

I think they have added another Quest, of Tomorrowland, since we were there last month. Maybe someone else can add to what I have here. But this is the basic story of the VMK Insider Tour! Have fun! :sunny:

Yes, the new quest must be printed off the internet. You can find a link to it on the main vmk page. This quest gets you teleport, so it is a must have :)

There is another quest too that they give you while on the vmk tour for the haunted mansion room and accessories.

I went on the tour, and we went on Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion.

Someone said they went on Thunder Mountain, but I'm not sure if they do that anymore. I know I didn't go on.

When I went to the park (last week) you only had to do the original 3 quests to get the tour, not the Tomorrowland one. Probably because many people (including me) didn't remember to print one out. I got a lady from concierge to print one for me. :)

The Haunted Mansion has only 6 questions instead of 9, and each question is worth one prize. They give you that when you go on the ride, and you get time to answer it when you get off.

We just came back from doing the WDW VMK tour and it was just on the Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion. Will try to post a full report with pictures as soon as I get a chance (took some inside the VMK area on main street).

done the tour but i did all the quests i didn't get on the tour because it got rained out :umbrella:

Have never played VMK but did the tour yesterday. I can already see this will be very addictive. Got probably about 20+ cards between the tour and buying stuff at the stores. Set up my peep yesterday at the Cinema. You get extra stuff if you create it there.

The tour was fun. We rode HM and JC. The tour guide was great. He made sure everyone got cards and that no one person was scarfing them up. He also asked a trick question to see if anyone on the tour had gotten the answers off the Internet.

daber welcome to the VMK forum board check out the threads stuck at the top of this forum for insights and info on playing VMK.

Hope to see you in the Kingdom!
