Hello,
We're going soon and my daughters, who are both big VMK fans, would like to do the In Park Quest. I know there's a VMK board here on the DIS, but I've posted the question and didn't get many answers.

Can someone please let me know the Length of Time for the Quest; The Cost (if any); Days of the Week (if applicable); Ressies?
Thanks!

I did all of the in park quests I could get my hands on during my stay in May. They can be picked up on main street in Magic Kingdom for free. They are in the form of scratch cards. The quests themeselves you do on your own time. They each took a little over an hour to complete, mind you I was by myself and did not have others in tow. I had a lot of fun doing them and got some great prizes. There was one quest I did where I was required to park hop , this of course took a great deal more time, but the prize was well worth it. Have a great time!

Also, if you feel like "cheating" there are spoilers on the VMK players guide on the VMK board. :)

We did the three MK land quests when they first came out. And we took the tour. (Not even sure if that is offered any longer.)
I have a few extra cards of a newer quest. But I never have gotten around to doing it.
The card quests are free in VMK Central on Main St.
They don't take that long and are fun to do. Figure on maybe an hour for each quest.

You didn't mention if it was WDW or Disneyland, California? At Disneyland, VMK central is in Tomorrowland. The quests take a bit of time if you want to complete them all, but cast members can be helpful, too. Make sure to print any online park quests (tomorrowland, etc) before you go, once there, you can't get them. Also, at Disneyland, you can get fast passes to rides for completing quests. Good luck!

On the bottom of the Tomorrowland Quest it says it expires Dec. 31, 2005.

The Thrill Seekers quest expires Sept. 30, 2006. Is that true? Has anyone tried these and gotten rewards after Sept. 30?

Thanks,

Maz

DH and I did the Thrill Seekers, Tomorrowland, High School Musical, Fantasyland, Frontierland and Adventureland in October. They were all still there and they had the cards. We got the Pennypress from the Frontierland shop when we bought some candy. We even asked if they still had the Gold Ears cards at the hat shop on Main St. They did and we got them for nothing b/c the ears are no longer being sold. There were a few Pirates Quest cards left too but I'm not sure if they're still there or not. Word is, is that a new Chrismas Quest will start next month. Not much on that yet. Hopefully, it will be up and running when we go the first weekend of December.

VMK only has the Tomorrowland and Thrill seekers and the High School quest. Where can I print the others from?

I have not actually tried, but when we were at WDW in late Sept, the woman working at VMK told me that they had so many of the various cards that were supposed to expire on 9/30/06 that they were still giving them out, so they weren't expiring yet. She had no info on when they would expire.

You don't print the Pirates, Fantasyland, Frontierland or Adventureland. You pick up the cards at VMK Central or Pirates has been found at the Pirates store by the ride. They're still multiple choice but they're scratch offs. You finish each on and turn them in for the cards they're worth plus usually some bonus cards and a green bracelet. I was told you needed to complete at least 3 quests for the bracelet and extra cards. Can't remember what the extra cards were though.
