I was wondering how long it would take for those pics to be made unaccessible.

Though it was nice to get a peak into the inside world of the vmk team, I think it was a wise choice on their part. I got to check out the pics last night and thought there was some "mild" adult content in some of the comments that accompanied the pics. Also, there was a pic (oh the horror!) of poor Goofy in a very bad situation!

I went through the entire album (dozens of photos) and was VERY surprised a Disney staff person would have posted these to a public account. Wouldn't be surprised if somone gets a talking to for this. Not only were some of the photo captions questionable, but it takes away the magic of VMK, particularly to younger players. And if the VMK standards are upheld, it sends mixed signals to see VMK staff saying and doing the same type actions that are banned on VMK! I didn't save any photos but you didn't miss much, there are just normal type people in an office and other settings. Nice offices, though - as one caption put it "very dot-comish".

I would not expect the VMK staff to maintain VMK values in their private lives. I would expect them have wives, husbands, boyfriends or girlfriends, children, addresses, telephone numbers, etc. And I would have no problem with them drinking "bears" in the real world, either.

I certainly respect your opinion. I can only speak from my experience, and when I was a staff member it was stressed that at any time we can be associated with the park - while wearing the uniform/costume in or outside of work; in photos; or even depositing our pay check we are at that time a representative of the park and our actions and attitudes could be seen by others as a reflection of the park. Also, there was a session about presenting yourself outside of the park that was held at the most recent industry conference. But again I can only speak from my own experience.

Not VMK; park. I would assume same values and procedures that are park and imaginneering policies would hold for VMK, but I have no knowledge of VMK other than being a guest. And you know what they say about assuming, too. LOL

i dont think its illegal, i just think someone set it to private so other people cant see their pictures? >_<
