VMK Give me a BREAK! New Pin RANT!

Hi,

I love VMK but sometimes they do something irritating. The pin we get is non trade able. This is plain STUPID! When they gave out New Year 2006 pin to every person it was trade able. What about people who can not be here today. I told a good friend I would get them one while he is at camp. Come on VMK have a heart. Many players can not be here today and new players coming will never have the chance to own it. I am tired of the ridiculous stuff going on!!!!!

I'm ok with it. It is a cool reminder that I was on VMK the 4th. I feel sorry for those who can't log on today though.

I agree Bug. It's just silly that you can't trade it...no real reason why it shouldn't be tradeable. Why aren't other holiday pins nontradeable if this is the way it's going to be?

Yes and I wasn't happy about that either being that the 2006 pin IS tradeable. So out of all the holiday pins, two random ones aren't tradeable? Makes no sense at all.

I knew in my heart it would be non-tradable by the wording:
"Everyone that logs on will get a pin".

I was thinking last night as I was missing playing the game and running around town getting ready for today: we should start a letter writing campaign asking that EVERYTHING be made tradable -- all the older things and any new things.

And just keep writing every week.

Yes. I believe that nearly everything should be tradable. Only things that should not be tradable are those badges/pins for winning best quest/guest etc and staff uniforms.

Either they have our best intrest at heart because they would hate for us to accidently trade this special item Or maybe they want everyone to be on the buddy system that shouldn't cause to many problems. (disclaimer: never share your log in and password info )

Actually, I am not thrilled with this but am not at all surprised they don't want us filling our lanyards.

Maybe I'm the odd one out with this but I don't find it to be a huge deal. I could care less if it is tradeable or not. It was given to us. We didn't have to buy it. I'm sorry there will be some that will miss out on it. The thing I think would have been nice to do is send the message/pin to all accounts that are allowed to log in during the month since they have to know the world does not revolve around the game. This way everyone would get the pin and no one could complain about it being tradeable or not.

Well I think that after one year of an item not being tradeable then they should make it tradeable. I also think there should be pins for each country the players come from. Like I get a thrill out of a US Mickey hat, being Canadian I do not wear that hat with pride. Though I do wear it to help my US friends celebrate their holiday. So I think there should be an international day.

Wow I just read duck's post. Being made to keep the American flag is not cool. And religion and politics are not allowed in VMK. I think making us take one and having no way to get rid of it is crossing the political line. Though I do not mind having one. But not offering other flags is not cool either. Or at the very least have a flag for each Disney Location.

Honestly, why make some things tradable and other things not.
THEY started the whole trading thing in VMK.
THEY are the ones that remind us umpteen times a day "you will be the envy of the kingdom".

If they didn’t want us trading and collecting things why start it?

Sorry, but I dont get it, I mean VMK is american so why would you dont like that pin ? I am not american, I have a USA flag pin on VMK but I dont care .. I mean I play an american game so i accept that (I would probably not accept other things I am thinking of though but not for the pin) and I dont see why it is lame that it is not sellable except that it is not tradeable ..

Ok maybe your message is in the sense of the fact that it is taking place but one pin amongst a bunch of pins wont really change things ..
