Title you play most on: RachelNinja
When did you first join VMK: June 2007
How did you find out about VMK: I was on the Disney website, just clicking around looking at everything since I wasn't invited to a wedding and was bummed, lol.
How many characters do you have created: 5, all different aspects of me (you know, the ninja, the studious one, the cool one, the boring one, and the wacky one).
How many hours do you play a week (ahhh!): I'd say at LEAST 10 hours. I need a few good games of HM before going to bed each night and once I start, I tend to have trouble stopping ...
Fave magic: Snowman; the first time I saw it, I fell in love! Anytime I saw someone had the pin, I asked them to use it. I still get the giggles everytime I see it now (even when I'm using the magic myself since my friend traded for it to gift me!).
Least fave magic: Cursed Storm; I think the magic is great and it's creepy with the thunder and whatnot but that's the one magic that gives me a TON of lag. If it weren't for the lag, I'd say the Pirate magic is useless.
Fave costume/clothing: I had a great time collecting as many outfits (especially hats) as possible but for the most part, I just like wearing jeans, a blue tank top, white snow boots, and my sorcerer hat.
Least fave costume/clothing: I never understood the bird hat. I mean, there's a seagull ... on your head ... haha. Of course, that didn't stop me from trading for two of them for my friend and me! I believe the only one I need to get is the musketeer hat!
Fave pin: Tomorrowland Retro People Mover; the TTA is my absolute favorite at MK! Thanks to HowWeird for getting this pin for me!
Least fave pin: The tiki pins because they don't seem different to me. Haha, I guess I just don't notice any of the characters or whatever on them.
Fave furniture: Gingerbread bench. It was the first thing I ever traded for. I saw it for the first time and knew I had to find some way to get it. I get a kick out of sitting on a cookie and candy.
Least fave furniture: The skeleton chair. It creeps me out. In real life, I would never sit on a chair like that for fear that the arms would suddenly move and wrap around me.
Fave theme thus far: Dreams Month was a good month but only in retrospect. The actual month wasn't that fun but I realized that the DIS was made up of a bunch of fabulous people and then someone gifted me dreams ears (still don't know who!). That was an example of such kindness and generosity and looking back on it, I think it made the month extra special. Of course, I haven't been on for very long and during the first few months, I didn't even realize there were themes, haha.
Least fave theme: I haven't been on long enough to have a least favorite because they're all new to me! I didn't particularly enjoy tiki month though because I just couldn't get into it.
Fave Host event (specific or type): Um, I guess ride-a-thons if that's what it's called? The one where we rode all the different color rides and got black boxes. Haha, I didn't realize you could keep getting prizes, otherwise I would have known to do it the day before when the prize was white ghosts!
What item did you feel happiest/most satisfied about getting (whether it be from a trade or purchase): Sorcerer hat and a close second is the black mickey ears. To me, those are standard WDW things and I never had the opportunity to have one of them so little Ninja gets to have the thrill!
Is there an item on vmk that you just don't get the appeal about? If so, what: Many of the rare beta (?) items like black candle and red tent and such. I guess I don't understand why it's so important to have these things when they sell the same item in other colors (unless, of course, you have colored rooms or a particular theme where you want or love that certain color). Just having those things doesn't make sense to me. I think rare costumes are more fun to have.
What one item/room/ride/etc.. do you wish you could create for vmk: Something with Mulan! It bums me out that she (along with Pocahontas) are usually dropped when it comes to the Disney Princesses.
If you could magically get rid of one aspect of the game, would you and what would it be?: People who trash talk or make fun of others. I don't get why they feel like they need to get some power in a virtual world by doing that. I've had random people say mean things to me, and even though I don't know them, it still stings for a second. At least that's what Ninja tells me
What theme would you introduce to the game: I really like the Forgotten Attractions in the TCG and it would be so much fun to be reminded of things from Disney's history!
Your best day on vmk was when...... : The first night I spent with a whole bunch of DISers in SorcererDonald's room during Dreams month. It was the first time I met people and the first time I actually felt like part of the DIS family
This _(add your comment)____ is what makes me continue to play the game: The fact that HowWeird and I can take a break from our hectic lives and have our only concern be trying to get another 2K bonus from HM.
