They're closing it to fix the friends list bug, when it says your friends are "Not in any room" but they actually are in a room.

Rumor Patrol: We already have/had enough of these types of rumors going around. They close a lot of times just for technical reasons. Just because they close VMK down, does not mean they are adding new things.

My guess is with GhostGal. They are hopefully fixing the friends list. If you haven't noticed - your friends are not where it says they are. It shows you the LAST place they were - so you cant visit them! LOL The anti-social version of vmk. LOL! Hope that's what they are fixing!

(Yes, you can use Room List, but only if your friend is in their own room.....)
